This time, I will tell you about the situation when I stayed at 【Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station】in February 2022.
This hotel is a Marriott Group hotel.
There are several Courtyard by Marriott hotels in Japan. There are two in Osaka. One is near Honmachi, Osaka. Introducing this time is a hotel in Shin-Osaka station.
About access How to get to 【Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station】
- Address: 1-2-70 Miyahara, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka
(Japanese:大阪府大阪市淀川区宮原1-2-70) - Access: 1 minute walk from hin-Osaka Station(JR-A46・JR-F02・M13)
※Please note that there are two Courtyard by Marriott Hotels in Osaka.
If you use the Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen, the central exit is near.
If you use the conventional line (Tokaido Main Line (JR Kyoto Line) / Osaka Higashi Line), exit from the east exit and head toward the central exit of the Shinkansen.

From the central exit, go out to the north exit from the Hankyu Building connecting passage.
* It’s the next building, but it feels the same.

There is an exit next to McDonald’s.
When you go outside, you will see the hotel in front of you.

If you use the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, you need to be careful. If you make a mistake at the ticket gate, it will be a detour. Close to the hotel is the north ticket gate. Go up there or above Exit 2.

Check in
Check-in time is 15:00.

There are eight types of guest rooms, but general guest rooms have different levels.
The courtyard room are rooms on the lower floors.
The Courtyard High Floor Room are rooms on the middle floors.
Executive rooms are rooms on higher floors.
The difference between a king size bedroom and a twin room is basically the same specifications.
The rooms are 30㎡.

mini-bar

It’s a bathroom. Bath amenities are subject to change in the future. The reason is Japanese law aimed at reducing plastic products.

The view from the guest room
This time, it was a room with a train view. You can also see the plane landing at Itami Airport. But it makes noise. If you want a quiet room, please go to the other side.

About hotel facilities
There is a gym on the first floor.
I think the lobby floor is the 3rd floor. If you go to the first floor, you need to change elevators on the lobby floor. There is an elevator from the side of the restaurant to the first floor.
Around the hotel
The area around Shin-Osaka Station is an office district. There are restaurants, small supermarkets, convenience stores, etc. in the Osaka Station Building.

If you want to go to a big supermarket, it was about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
We recommend a mini supermarket called Seijo Ishii near the north ticket gate of the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line. There is craft beer in Osaka.

In-room dining
There is a restaurant on the lobby floor of the hotel. Room service is available. You can also take out. (Go to the restaurant on the lobby floor to pick it up yourself)

This time, I take out at a restaurant. Cheaper than using room service. Call the restaurant to place an order and they will contact you when the food is ready.
I ate a Marriott burger. Room service costs JPY 2700. If you go to pick it up yourself, it costs 1800 yen.
