This time, I will tell you about the situation when I stayed at Hotel Forza Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi in June 2021.
Hotel Forza has 11 hotels in Japan. There is only one place in Kyoto. There are two hotels in Osaka.
About access

The subway “Shijo Station(K09)” and the Hankyu Kyoto line “Karasuma station(HK85)” are in the same place. The hotel is located between “Karasuma station(HK85)” and “Kyoto Kawaramachi Station(HK86)” . There is an underpass from Karasuma Station to Kyoto Kawaramachi Station. Hotel entrances are both above ground and in its underpass(Exit 11).

The first floor of the hotel is a tenant. The entrance to the hotel is narrow.

Check-in time is 14:00. The hotel reception is on the first basement floor.
Check in by machine. There is an amenity corner. There are toothbrushes, hairbrushes and cotton swabs in the room. Others are self-service. There were body towels, bath salts, shavings, hair packs, cotton, cleansing, all-in-one cream, etc.
About the room Superior double room 18㎡ Bed width 160cm
Single bedrooms are Forza Single Room, Forza Double Room and Superior Double Room. It feels like the bed is getting wider. When it comes to twin rooms, the room becomes one size larger. You can sit on the window side like a sofa. There are no desks and chairs. There was a face care steamer.
The bathroom has a bathtub. Shampoo etc. are pump type. Amenities include toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and cotton swabs.
About hotel facilities
There are vending machines, ice and washer / dryers on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I couldn’t find the microwave.
Washing is 400 yen.

Around Hotel Forza Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi
The area around the hotel is downtown. Kawaramachi is a particularly popular area. There are also multiple convenience stores.
About breakfast
Breakfast was 2200 yen. The time is from 07:00. The location is on the first basement floor.
You can choose Japanese or Western food. I chose Western food.
Even Western food is close to Japanese food.
The difference is bread or rice. Miso soup or corn soup
